Quebrada means “gulch” or “ravine” and our resturant is named after one of the most famous ravines in Mexico. La Quebrada is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Acapulco, Guerrero. The ravine is known for its fearless divers who entertain tourists by jumping off either of two ledges on the cliff, that are 40 feet and 80 feet high, respectively. The divers are passionate about the thrill of jumping in, but must calculate the right moment to dive in and catch an incoming wave to avoid serious injury or death. Occasionally jumpers dive with a torch at night and most of them come from the family of Quebrada divers.
Just like La Quebrada divers, our restaurant comes from a family in Guerrero. We are all food lovers passionate about providing quality dishes, using only the freshest ingredients, always adhering to the original recipe for a consistent flavor since 1998.
